President Dr. Richarda Russ invites His Serene Highness, Crown Prince Albert of Monaco, to the 2003 Charity Ball, held in Toronto.
The highlight of our fundraising effort is our annual Ball Pologne, a celebration of the spirit of giving and sharing. Each year, hundreds of diplomatic, political and business leaders gather for this ball, which is one of the highlights of the Toronto season. The balls raise over $50,000 per year for the benefit of orphaned children.
Year 2010 marks the Polish Orphans Charity's 10th anniversary Ball Pologne, subtitled, "Without Borders". Widening the scope and raising the bar again, we direct our fundraising efforts towards helping orphaned children in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Ukraine.
In 2009, the Charity Ball Pologne dedicated its aid to the children of Afghanistan to help overcome the many obstacles they face in this war-torn country. We want to build bridges to the Afghan people in the interests of helping children.
